Buyers and Sellers

Whether you are buying or selling, we represent you in the transaction. We read the contract, flag the dates that bind you, and stay with you until the transaction is complete.

Deeds and Recording

A deed is the paper that transfers ownership of a house, a camp, or a lot. Until it is signed, delivered, and recorded at the Registry of Deeds in the county where the property sits, the rest of the world still sees the old owner on the books. Recording is how lenders, buyers, and heirs find the chain of title. We draft the deed that fits the transfer—warranty, quitclaim, life estate, or transfer-on-death—sit with you for the signing, and record it.

Advice for Your Situation

Inspection contingencies, the personal-property list, oil-tank language, and who is still living in the house. We provide advice based on your specific situation, and we are there for you if the situation turns sideways.
